The hotel is located just in the middle of the Eixample area, it's five minutes away from Passeig de Gracia, plaza Catalunya and all the main landmarks and tourist attractions from Barcelona.
100 rooms, several of which are duplex or have a terrace, with exquisite paintings, materials and decoration. All have air conditioning/heating, parquet in all floors and sound-proofed rooms, direct-dialing telephone, piped-in background music, safe deposit box, mini-bar, TV, Canal Plus, Satellite TV and Pay-per-view, and hair dryer. The restaurant serves a la carte Mediterranean cuisine, and is located on the ground floor.
The hotel was built in 1990, and is a modern looking building. The facade is tiled in grey with elegant windows and balconies. The medium sized lobby is pleasantly decorated, as is the rest of the hotel.
The standard for this property far exceeds its category. It also offers wireless high speed internet access, a lovely swimming-pool and a bar garden (subject to weather conditions), car parking, courtesy car "Smart", an African art collection and free access to the Barcelona Egyptian Museum. |
